Discover the beauty of the Azores Islands with the renovated walking paths of Monte da Guia

The walking path of Monte da Guia on the island of Faial, part of the enchanting Azores Islands, has been transformed into a true masterpiece of architecture and safety. Thanks to our partnership with Afavias – Engenharia e Construções - Açores SA, we contributed to creating a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors to this exceptional location. Through our products, we managed to offer solutions that combine functionality with aesthetics, preserving the unique character of Monte da Guia.

Harmony between nature and innovation

Monte da Guia is a volcanic formation with an impressive height of 145 meters. Near the chapel of Our Lady of Guia (Nossa Senhora da Guia), located at the very top of Monte da Guia, concrete bollards Model 10 and bicycle racks Model 164 by Encho Enchev – ETE were installed. These products are made from concrete with a homogenous aggregate structure of marble particles, and the surfaces have a fine relief. Thus, they ensure not only the safety and convenience of pedestrians and cyclists but also add aesthetic value to the environment, allowing everyone to immerse in the beauty of nature without worries.

Resting places where nature speaks

The Monte da Guia project is a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that inspire and offer unique experiences. Anyone visiting this exceptional location can enjoy breathtaking views encompassing Porto Pim Bay, the islands of Pico, Sao Jorge, and Graciosa, and feel the peace that the nature of the Azores Islands offers.

Deepening in the culture and history of the Azores

Through this initiative, we not only improved the infrastructure of one of the symbols of Faial Island but also contributed to acquainting visitors with the rich cultural and historical mosaic of the region. Monte da Guia, with its volcanic craters and panoramic views, represents a portal to the past and a call for the preservation of nature for future generations.

We thank our partners from Afavias – Engenharia e Construções - Açores SA and the community of Faial Island for the opportunity to participate in this project and contribute to the enrichment of their cultural and natural heritage.
